Vintage Horby

Hornby Dublo first went on sale late in 1938 but was halted in 1939 due to the outbreak of world war 2.

The company flourished through fifty's and early sixty's until it was sold to Lines Bros (Triang) in 1964. It may be interesting to note that Hornby only modeled equipment that was actually running on British Railways at the time.
